Two men are arrested after Greater Manchester Police officers find a three-year-old child sat on the passenger's knee throughout the chase. A dog and cannabis are also discovered inside the vehicle.
Two men have been arrested after a car carrying a three-year-old child was involved in an 'extremely dangerous' 150mph chase. Greater Manchester Police said the pursuit of the Audi A3 began in Heywood shortly before 7pm on Tuesday. In a 13-minute-long chase, the vehicle reached speeds of up to 150mph as it travelled through Rochdale towards Whitworth and then back to Rochdale, GMP said. The dramatic pursuit ended when the car crashed into a lamppost on Bentley Street.
Officers found a three-year-old child was sat on the passenger's knee throughout the chase. A dog and cannabis were also found inside the vehicle.
