Rochester, N.Y. — The April 8 total solar eclipse is set to cross a total of 13 states, passing over the United States, Mexico and Canada, according to NASA.Tony Gallace, chef at Max of Eastman Place in downtown Rochester, says his restaurant will be honoring the path of totality with a special menu, alongside regulars' favorite dishes.
Gallace says crafting a menu for some of the northern cities is easy, but his team is embracing the opportunity to get creative for others. A lifelong Rochesterian, Gallace says he's excited for the opportunity to show out-of-towners everything the city has to offer, especially its wealth of local culinary talent.
