Rod Stewart’s daughter Ruby gives birth to baby and shares first pic and lovely name ❤️
Ruby announced her exciting pregnancy news at the beginning of the year as she told fans that she was due to give birth in April, but her bundle of joy arrived 12 days late.
The mum-of-one, 35, welcomed her little boy with her fiancé Jake Kalick and shared their happy news on Instagram on Sunday 14 May – which is Mother’s Day in the States.“I am only a mirror of what I feel from you…“Your arrival into the world marks the beginning of our family…”Ruby has since been inundated with sweet messages, as husband-to-be Jake thanked her for making him a dad.
Jake and Ruby got engaged shortly after they announced that they were expecting a baby, with Ruby going on to pen a heartfelt post to her future hubby. Alongside snaps of the happy couple sharing a kiss as the then-expectant mother showcased her engagement ring. Ruby wrote at the time: “Yes to… Always finding your hand to hold in the middle of the night… to always making a sh*tty situation something we can laugh about… to calling me out on my passive aggressive bullsh*t..
Ruby’s step-mum Penny Lancaster was quick to comment on the post writing: “Beautiful” beside a lovestruck emoji.Rod has eight children in total, with Ruby being his fourth-born.
