Convicted paedophile Rolf Harris , who passed away at the age of 93 last year, had a poignant final wish for his daughter Bindi. The shamed TV star, once a household name for shows like Rolf's Cartoon Club and Animal Hospital, spent his final days in seclusion, a stark contrast to his former life in the spotlight.
His illustrious career came to an abrupt end in 2013 following his arrest and subsequent conviction for 12 indecent assaults on four teenage girls between 1968 and 1986, although one conviction was later quashed. Sentenced to five years and nine months in prison, he served time until his release in 2017, after which he reportedly became a recluse, battling serious illness.
His last words were a testament to his concern for his wife: "I always believed we would go on longer together but, if I go first, promise you'll take good care of your mum." In 2016, while still incarcerated, he faced seven unrelated historic allegations of indecent assault but was cleared on three counts.
