House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez expressed confidence that the national government can achieve President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s target of building six million housing units within his term. | zacariansINQ
Romualdez said this during the groundbreaking of the Legacy Housing Project of the Marcos administration in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, which is part of its “Pambansang pabahay para sa Pilipino” Program.“Our target: one million housing units every year. This is an ambitious target, but I am very confident we can achieve this through our unity in purpose and the cooperation of all stakeholders in the program,” Romualdez said in a statement.
He then vowed that Congress “will do everything to support [Marcos] in all of his programs” as he believes that working as one will allow the government to achieve its goals.
