The report states that Regufe is believed to have "excessive influence" surrounding Ronaldo, with "a number of players not understanding the reason for him joining up with the squad".
Manager Fernando Santos has since jumped to Ronaldo's defence by telling people to leave him alone though. He said: "He never told me he wanted to leave. It's time to finish this and stop. He left the dressing room against Switzerland, warmed up, went out for a run to celebrate the goals with his team-mates.
