Cristiano Ronaldo thanks Liverpool supporters for their tribute at Anfield after the death of his baby son
Ronaldo was granted compassionate leave and played no part in United’s 4-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
In a post on Instagram, Ronaldo shared a video of the gesture and wrote: ‘One world… One sport… One global family… Thanks, Anfield.Speaking about the tribute after the match, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: ‘My moment of the game was the seventh minute when the whole stadium showed pure class, so many things are much more important in life than football.
