Ronan Keating praises ‘Bowel Babe’ Deborah James amid ‘heart-breaking’ cancer battle
The former headteacher was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016 and announced on Instagram on 9 May that she has now stopped treatment and is receiving hospice care at home.

For her tireless charity work throughout her illness, Deborah was awarded a Damehood and Prince William personally delivered it to her home in Cambridgeshire.
