"Joseph Suaalii has not yet signed with Rugby Australia. They believe it is close but it's definitely not signed."It is my understanding that Suaalii is meeting with his inner sanctum and has been this afternoon to decide on his future.
"But when there is about $4.8 million plus on the table, it's going to be hard for the 19-year-old to say no to rugby."The boom youngster is contracted to the Roosters until the end of 2024, but Rugby Australia hopes to secure his services in time for the British and Irish Lions tour the following year.before electing to begin his professional career in the NRL.
