The Irish duo won the Zurich Classic in New Orleans after beating Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a play-off.
Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry were in high spirits as they celebrated their Zurich Classic win with karaoke and beers.
In the playoff, the Irish pair secured par while their opponents stumbled, handing Lowry his first PGA Tour win since the Open Championship in 2019 and ending McIlroy's nine-month wait for another tour triumph. The Irish friends, who have teamed up in the Ryder Cup for Europe, kicked off their celebrations with a beer and took to the stage in Louisiana, where McIlroy sang with a live band and Lowry enjoyed the moment, humorously remarking on X that he "Couldn't get a word in".
The triumph couldn't have come at a better time for both golfers, with the PGA Championship, the US Open and the Open Championship all on the horizon in the next three months. McIlroy is particularly eager to end his decade-long wait for a major title in 2024.
