The US Open gets under way this Thursday in Los Angeles
The US Open tees up this week as the third major of the golfing season takes place at Los Angeles Country Club.
There will be plenty of eyes on McIlroy's group when the US Open gets under way on Thursday. That's because the Ulsterman has been paired with LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka.They will play alongside former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama in Los Angeles on Thursday and Friday. There has been some history between the pair, with Koepka previously stating that he didn't view McIlroy as a rival as he hadn't won a major since 2014.
