Rory McIlroy appears set for a dramatic U-turn with the PGA Tour policy board, just six months after stepping back from his role on the body.
Despite being a leading figure for the PGA Tour, McIlroy abruptly quit as a a player director on the tour's influential policy board last November to concentrate more on his playing career rather than the politics of the sport. In a message to Sky Sports News on Monday evening, McIlroy said: "I'd rather the men's golf professional landscape survived this, so I'm happy to do my bit."
