THE Rotary International District 3830 on May 10 successfully held Day 1 of its District Conference 2024, the district's biggest gathering for thanksgiving and celebration.Themed 'Forging Hope. Taking Flight,' which took inspiration from the 'Top Gun' film franchise, the two-day event was held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
Discon 2024 Chairman, past president Gil Chua, delivered his spirited welcome remarks with recorded video messages from first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and Metro Pacific Group and PLDT Chairman Manny V. PangiIinan.The keynote speaker for the first day was Rotary International President Gordon McInally's Representative , Past Rotary International Director Eunsoo Moon of Rotary Club of Cheonan Dosol, South Korea.
