Members of a local Rotary club have thanked the people of Shrewsbury for their ‘incredible expressions of kindness’ during the latest Santa sleigh campaign.
David Morris, president of Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club, said: “We just can’t believe how kind people are during our tours around the town and also taking the sleigh to local supermarkets.
He said that this year the club had been able to draw down considerable ‘on the ground’ support from a much wider pool of helpers, ranging from Barclays Bank to a Wolverhampton-based motorsport company.“During Santa’s sleigh visit to Shrewsbury’s Asda on Sunday Rotary elves were joined by Antonio and Dominicio Giovinazzo, directors of 3GS Motorsport.
