Seven men have been found guilty of sexual offences against two girls in care in South Yorkshire.
Seven men have been found guilty of abusing two young girls in Rotherham, who were often collected from the children's homes where they lived and raped or sexually assaulted.
The girls, who were aged between 11 and 16 at the time, were groomed and plied with alcohol or drugs before being abused, the NCA added.Their case was part of Operation Stovewood, which is the UK's biggest investigation into child abuse.Operation Stovewood was set up in the wake of the Jay Report, published in 2004, which found that at least 1,400 girls were abused, trafficked and groomed by gangs of men of mainly Pakistani heritage in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013.
