A pub has implemented a rule that has got customers caught up in a huge debate. The rule bans customers dressed in certain ways from entering the establishment after 6pm in the evening - and it has caused a bit of a stir with punters. The Lottie Dod in Birkenhead has implemented a dress code in their 'sports bar,' every day after 6pm. The dress code states that customers will not be allowed to enter after this time wearing tracksuits, sports shorts, work wear or caps.
Some people have hit out at the pub claiming it's 'demonising' certain job roles by targeting tradesmen, who can often be seen in the pub donning workwear, rather than an office worker, who will more than likely be smartly dressed. Leon Kearney wrote on the pub's Facebook post: 'I just feel that demonising a demographic is a little outdated.
