Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's future at the Etihad Stadium is uncertain as his contract expires in 2025
Former Manchester United captain and Republic of Ireland international Roy Keane has urged the English FA to chase Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to fill their vacant managerial position.
England are currently being managed on an interim basis by Lee Carsley. However, the Three Lions' U21s coach informed the media during this international break that he has been asked to lead the country until November when he passes on control a new manager. Speculation has since intensified as to who could be approached if Carsley is not the man to replace Gareth Southgate. United linked Thomas Tuchel surged in popularity with the bookmakers on Friday with Graham Potter and Eddie Howe also mentioned.Following England's victory over Finland in the Nations League, there was a consensus amongst Keane and fellow pundit Ian Wright that there was a lack of options on the table.
