It might be a positive sign There’s a small glimmer of hope for Roy Cropper in Coronation Street this coming week as he remembers a detail about Lauren Bolton that could help free him from prison. Roy is currently behind bars for the murder of Lauren, the young woman who went missing a few months ago. Aware of his innocence, Roy’s friends and family are working hard to find a shred of evidence that proves he wasn’t involved in Lauren’s disappearance.
Unfortunately, his chain of thought is interrupted due to a prison officer banging on the door. Later that day, Nina arrives at the visiting room ready to see Roy. However, as time ticks away, she starts to worry. Nina then tells a prison officer that she’s waiting for Roy Cropper. The officer makes his way to Roy’s cell but when he gets there, he finds the beloved character collapsed on the floor.
