During the Glasgow magnet fishers most recent trip to the Forth and Clyde canal the team pulled out a rather unusual discovery from the water.
Magnet fishers were sweeping the Forth and Clyde canal, near Maryhill fire station, when they came across an interesting discovery earlier this week.
The Glasgow group have travelled far and wide to investigate a number of bodies of water, pulling out everything from safes to dumped motorbikes. The magnet fishing Facebook page was founded by Mark McGeachin after coming across a YouTuber using a magnet to pull items out of the water. After purchasing a magnet four years ago from Amazon, he headed out to give the hobby a go himself.
