A look back at The Royal Family's best fashion moments from Chelsea Flower Show over the years 🌸🌻

The Chelsea Flower Show is officially back and as per usual, our favourite royals have looked blooming lovely while attending this year’s horticultural event, with everyone from Her Majesty The Queen to Princess Beatrice showcasing their best summer looks.

The Queen and her family are often in attendance at the event, held in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. While there’s no official dress code for the garden show, The Royal Family often give a nod to nature with their outfits – and this year was no different, with Princess Beatrice and Her Majesty embracing the floral theme, while Sophie, Countess of Wessex opted for a brightly coloured suit. To mark this year’s event, we’re taking a look back at some of our favourite royal fashion moments from the Chelsea Flower Show over the years… The Duchess of Cambridge We can always count on Kate to bring her style a-game, and whilst she’s not due to attend this year’s show, the floral frock she wore to the event in 2021 will go down in fashion history. With a stunning high-neck design, three-quarter-sleeves and broderie anglaise detailing, the Duchess’s Erdem gown tapped into the prairie trend that proved popular that season. To pull the look together, Kate accessorised with summer wedges and flower-shaped pearl earrings, with her hair styled in a half up-do, featuring a boho-style braid. Gorgeous! Her Majesty The Queen When it comes to her attire for the Chelsea Flower Show, The Queen often likes to match her surroundings by teaming a floral dress with a brightly coloured dress coat. Whilst it’s been her go-to look in recent years, in 2010, Her Majesty surprised fans when she turned up in a skirt and matching buttoned jacket in this bold paisley print. She also opted to wear the Queen Mother's Diamond Palm-Leaf brooch which was made by Cariter in 1938, while finishing off the look with a black patent handbag, black loafers and a pearl necklace. Sophie, Countess of Wessex While her fellow royals like to embrace the floral theme at Chelsea Flower Show, Sophie has previously kept things subtle by opting for all-white looks that are both chic and on-trend. Take her 2018 outfit for example; the Royal wowed fans in a white, boho-style dress with sheer panelling and flattering bat-wing sleeves. She paired the look with silver jewellery, nude court heels and a matching clutch – which is said to be the same exact bag she wore to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just a few days prior. Princess Beatrice of York Princess Beatrice’s style has seriously evolved over the years but when it comes to the annual flower show, she’s always had her finger on the fashion pulse. For the 2018 event, the Royal took inspiration from her grandmother by opting for a feminine floral dress, featuring rainbow-coloured applique and broderie trim all-over. She gave the look a chic finish by teaming it with a white tailored blazer, a pair of loafers and a black city bag, while wearing her hair in a sleek style. Kate Middleton While the Duchess’s floral dress certainly stole the show in 2021, her day-time look that year was just as chic. Consisting of a white broderie-style shirt, wide-leg trousers and a pair of Superga trainers, it’s the perfect example of Kate’s casual and elegant style. Bringing the whole look together, the royal wore her brunette locks in a classic blow-out style, teamed with a soft smokey-eye and heaps of blusher across her cheeks.
