The Royal family have reportedly sent a message of support to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after they entered the next phase of their Netflix deal, but one expert believes there could have been a 'passive aggressive' motive behind the public statement.
The Royal Family were reportedly rooting for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's success in Tinseltown, yet a PR guru suggests it could have been a "passive aggressive" gesture.
Nonetheless, PR specialist Matt Yanofsky senses a "passive aggressive" undertone to this seeming encouragement. "However, 'wishing Meghan the best' is the most passive aggressive public relations speak I've ever read. It sounds like solely PR." Subsequently, Prince Harry's explosive autobiography 'Spare' hit the shelves earlier this year, intensifying the discord within the Royal household.
Nonetheless, it is believed that the royals are now hoping for Harry and Meghan to find success in their Hollywood ventures, allowing them to distance themselves from the ongoing turmoil. However, commentator Matt remains sceptical.
