Royal Mail has shared the last posting dates for Christmas in 2024. The countdown to Christmas has officially started as many households will have already started their shopping and card writing. But for anyone wishing to post any letters or parcels, make sure you check the deadline to avoid missing out. On its website, Royal Mail said: 'It’s always advisable to post as early as possible to ensure that your Christmas letters and parcels reach their destination in good time.
The Royal Mail states that latest posting dates are subject to change, and advises that customers visit the 'international incident bulletin' for the most up to date information on its postal services around the world. The last Christmas post date for second class and second class signed for items is Wednesday, December 18. The last day for Christmas post items which are sent first class, first class signed for or Royal Mail Tracked 48 is Friday, December 20.
