Those who have the Royal Mail App will be able to take advantage of the update.
Royal Mail has announced it will be changing the parcel delivery options which will help to keep them more safe and secure.
This will apply for all future parcel deliveries, and enables customers to let their postie know where to leave their deliveries if they don't fit through the letterbox. Residents can set their delivery preferences in the Royal Mail app in the ‘my account’ section. There are five default options to choose from including enclosed porch, greenhouse, shed, garage or outbuilding. Customers can also use the free text ‘other’ option.
