Outfielder Robbie Grossman was claimed off of waivers by the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, according to the Rangers. Grossman — along with outfielder Travis Jankowski —— started at designated hitter and batted second in his final game as a Rangers on Friday vs. the Oakland Athletics at Globe Life Field. Jankowski, who has not yet been claimed, is eligible to play for the Rangers unless he is picked up by another organization.A player must be in a team’s organization before 10:59 p.m.
