Carlos Fernandes, the assistant of Ruben Amorim , has taken to social media to send a message to Manchester United fans for the first time since his arrival.
The duo have tracked with Amorim through his subsequent time at SC Braga and Sporting CP. Fernandes is the same age as United captain Bruno Fernandes, having celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this month. Both assistants took to the Old Trafford dugout for the first time on Thursday as Amorim made his home bow in the 3-2 Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt. Fernandes then took to Instagram to share his first image since being brought to United.
Instagram Amorim has previously waxed lyrical about the quality that assistant Fernandes possesses, tipping him to become a successful manager himself in the future.
