Ruben Amorim spoke to the press to address his future ahead of his proposed move to Manchester United.
Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim has broken his silence on reports linking him with the Manchester United vacancy.Speaking after the result, he spoke to broadcasters in the mixed zone, where he touched on the speculation linking him with the Man United job.
"I have nothing more to say, we are analysing the game and anything I say will only create more noise. Image: Getty During his post-match press conference, he said: "Manchester United is interested. But it's my choice. Until everything is decided, we won't be making any noise. I have nothing useful to say. I will take on whatever I want to do, as I have always done."
But his comments seem to suggest his appointment won't be wrapped up in time, meaning he could be in the dugout for Sporting's next game, which takes place on Friday against Estrela Amadora.
