from the Denver Post, the San Antonio Spurs are among several teams reportedly eyeing Nuggets' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who declined his $15.4 million player option, making him an unrestricted free agent.
The Spurs can use more veteran presence on the roster and bring a championship mindset to the young players. The 31-year-old is a 3-and-D player and can help defensively on the perimeter and be a reliable three-point threat for San Antonio. “I think we have to look at everything, and the nature of free agency is, he’s unrestricted,” Booth said via The Denver Post. “So we can try to bring him back, and if he doesn’t want to come back or opts to go somewhere else, that’s his prerogative. So we’ll have to work with that. But I think we’re prepared to plug and play, so to speak.”
