Ukrainian No 2 Marta Kostyuk was left hurt and confused by the present of pro-Putin flags and Z t-shirts at Novak Djokovic’s clash with Andrey Rublev
“It hurts a lot because there were specific rules that were printed out outside that this is not [allowed],” said Kostyuk, referring to the laminated sheets that all stewards have at the gates depicting all the different types of Russian and Russian empire flags that are banned, as well as the infamous “Z” symbol.
“They were there on the court, in the stands as well and I just don’t understand as well. It really hurts and I don’t understand how this can be possible.”
