Russia's Defence Ministry had to stop the jets from breaching Vladimir Putin's airspace.
Russia has reportedlty intercepted an RAF spy plane in an attempt to stop it from breaching the counry's airspace.
The Russian Defence Ministry revealed they successfully blocked the violation from taking place. A spokesperson claimed that the UK warplanes changed direction once they saw they were being tracked. “As the Russian fighter approached, the foreign warplanes turned away from the Russian state border. The Russian aircraft returned safely to its home air base. There was no violation of the state border of the Russian Federation.”
