Malofeyev, speaking from a luxury resort in Dubai, stated that Putin would only end the conflict in Ukraine if the US and Kyiv conceded to significant terms, such as Kyiv ceding four frontline regions to Russia and agreeing not to join NATO.
He also stressed that if the US continues to support Kyiv's use of ATACMS long-range missiles on Russian territory, it could lead to a nuclear confrontation, with Moscow potentially using a tactical nuclear weapon
