“Imagine this for people who are starting out? You’ve got two lines, and someone cut 50 per cent of your script. It’s heartbreaking.”Behind the scenes, Ruth says she also tried to engage the future Oscar winner in conversation about the origins of her first name, only for Gwyneth to apparently act “dismissively” towards her.last month, Ruth revealed she was upset about the news getting out early, as it meant she had to “lie” both in public and private about Gavin & Stacey’s return.
