Ruth Langsford is said to be keen to speed up her divorce proceedings from estranged husband Eamonn Holmes after their surprising decision to part ways following a 14-year marriage. The duo announced their separation in May, and Eamonn has moved on with new girlfriend Katie Alexander.
Eamonn recently admitted he's looking forward to closing off 2024 after a 'tough year'. The GB News presenter, who's been open about his battles with health issues, especially over this last year, recently reflected: "It's been a tough year and I'll be glad to see the back of it." Eamonn has battled several health issues in recent times, openly sharing his concerns that he might never walk without assistance again. Having avoided hip replacement surgery for 30 years, the TV favourite finally went under the knife in 2016 to address unbearable hip, leg, and back pain that had been giving him 'sleepless nights' and made driving impossible, let alone more strenuous activities, reports the Mirror.
