Latest Manchester United news as Ruud van Nistelrooy closes in on his return to Old Trafford
Ruud van Nistelrooy's move to join Erik ten Hag's coaching staff at Manchester United has been confirmed by former teammate, Wesley Sneijder.
Ten Hag's contract extension was confirmed this week and it's now expected that plans will go ahead to add to his staff. Confirmation of his arrival is yet to appear from the club but Sneijder may have already verified the move to Old Trafford. Talking to talkSPORT, the former Netherlands and Real Madrid midfielder said when discussing Ten Hag and new Liverpool boss Arne Slot: "They are both good coaches. Slot did an amazing job with Feyenoord and at United, they are very confident with Ten Hag.
