The Man United coach couldn't hide his delight with the result on Friday night as United fired themselves to an opening win
Manchester United assistant coach and former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has given the club's win in the opening match of the season his own seal of approval after Joshua Zirkzee 's late winner secured all three points against Fulham on Friday night.
Zirkzee started the move, picking the ball up in the Fulham half before playing it out to Casemiro on the right-hand side. The Brazilian found Alejandro Garnacho whose cross was then expertly poked home by United's new centre-forward, who sent Old Trafford into raptures. "Somewhere between my debuts and it’s a bit below winning the Champions League with Bayern and my national team debut, but it’s up there. I'm just trying to be the best version I can be, help the team and club, so no specific goals."
The Dutchman posted the two photos alongside the caption: "Great team performance, +3" with red, white and black heart emojis.
