Ryan Gosling cheekily teased Oppenheimer while standing next to Emily Blunt on the Oscars stage. Ryan playfully poked fun at Barbie's rivals, Oppenheimer , as he presented an Oscar alongside Emily. The pair, whose popular films are competing in several categories at the 96th Academy Awards , had a friendly banter with Ryan jokingly accusing Oppenheimer of riding on 'Barbie's coattails'.
As they honoured all the stunt performers in cinema history, Ryan quipped: 'I figured out why they call it 'Barbenheimer' and they didn't call it 'Oppenbarbie.' I think you guys are the tail end of that cause you were riding Barbie's coattails all summer.' But Emily wasn't about to let the jibe slide and teased Ryan for 'painting' his abs on, insisting her co-star Robert Downey Jr would never do such a thing.
