Former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett died on Tuesday in Florida, a source confirmed to The Athletic. He was 35 years old. How Mallet will be remembered:

He was big, and his arm was even bigger. The other memory was of him goading me into playing him in EA Sports’ NCAA Football. I don’t know if he intentionally let me get a lead, but he sure relished trash-talking every step of the way of his comeback.
