The Hollywood megastars and Wrexham co-chairmen tried to arrange an interview with a Notts County supporters' group. It did not go well
For fans of Notts County and Wrexham, last season was about as dramatic as they come. With both teams battling to win promotion to the Football League the National League title was effectively decided by a match between both teams in April.
Despite that early success, it's Wrexham who have captured the imagination of football fans with megastar owners Reynolds and McElhenney sharing the club's story on the documentary Welcome to Wrexham. The behind-the-scenes Disney Plus series has entertained thousands in the UK and has been nominated for several awards.
However, when producers shared a screengrab of the message the first expletive wasn't there. The producers responded with a heart emoji.
