A Ryanair flight from Faro to Belfast International had to turn back to Faro due to a technical issue with the aircraft. The plane landed safely but experienced a minor tyre issue on the runway.
A Ryanair flight bound for Belfast has been forced to return to Faro in Portugal shortly after take-off.
The flight from Faro to Belfast International turned around "due to a tech issue with the aircraft" on Sunday morning. The plane landed "normally" at Faro Airport but then experienced "a minor tyre issue on the runway", Ryanair said.According to flight tracking website FlightRadar24, the plane circled over the sea before returning to Faro, something air crew do to use up fuel so a plane can land safely.Matthew Perry: Friends fame couldn't quell deep demons
