TV presenter Rylan Clark has opened up about his 'Jekyll and Hyde' personality and says he's actually a 'masculine' man who enjoys a quiet life away from the cameras
Rylan Clark has spilled the beans on his campy telly alter ego, confessing that it's all an act and at home, he's more action-man than glitz and glam. The beloved TV host, who shot to fame on X Factor, insists that behind the scenes he's something of a man's man, citing East End hardman Ray Winstone as a comparison.
Off-air, Rylan reverts to his true self Ross a regular guy who enjoys a pint and supports West Ham from the comfort of his couch. He said: "It's definitely a Jekyll and Hyde thing. I could call Rylan a curse, but he's made me a millionaire. I'm grateful to have been able to do the things I've done and had Rylan as the fall guy for it."
Rylan went on to describe his private persona, Ross, as a typical bloke whom he characterises as having, "for want of a better term" a "heterosexual-man blueprint brain".
