A woman bicyclist died after a collision with a van near the northern end of Coyote Creek Park in San Jose, police said Friday.
The collision was reported about 6:26 p.m. on Thursday in the area of Tully Road and La Ragione Avenue, police said.
Two cyclists, a woman and a man, were crossing Tully Road from south to north outside of a crosswalk, police said. A 2018 white Ford Transit van, going west on Tully Road, swerved to avoid one of the bicyclists when it struck the woman cyclist, police said.Woman, 5-year-old girl killed in fiery East Bay crashIt was the 25th traffic death of the year, police said.
