In a post on Facebook, the owners said: "We are sorry but we are closing down. It is with great sadness that we have to inform our customers that El Tapeo has had to close its doors."We have found the last months to be a struggle due to the rise in prices and a drastic fall in custom. We will miss you all in our little Spanish corner in Lancaster.Fans were quick to express their sadness over the closure in the comments.
