The San Antonio Fire Department responded to 20 high-water rescue calls. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt, and most were able to get to safety before crews arrived.

Joe Arrington with the San Antonio Fire Department said the key is not getting into those situations in the first place because you are putting your life in danger, and the crews are rescuing you. Lastly, call 911. Get yourself to safety, then call. Most likely, others are already calling for you.
