“First you hope it doesn’t happen at your church and that you’re prepared for something like that,” Mann, the building supervisor at one of Dothan’s largest churches, said. So, the church implemented things like a security team that limited public access to doors to ensure the safety of churchgoers. Law enforcement is also present for services and other events.
