Work begins Monday on multiple routes
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reminds motorists that safety improvement projects on multiple routes in Lancaster County are scheduled to begin next week.Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, April 8. This project consists of high friction surface treatment, asphalt resurfacing, line painting, advanced warning markings, and sign updates on the following routes:· Route 72 between Mount Hope Road and Pinch Road in Rapho Township.
· Millport Road between Eshelman Road and River Bend Park Road in West Lampeter Township.· Donerville Road between Weaver Road and Habecker Church Road in Manor Township.· Prospect Road between Ironville Pike to just north of Fairview Road in West Hempfield Township.Work will begin with milling and paving on North Ridge Road , Donerville Road and Prospect Road . The contractors will work during daylight hours.
