The £3bn Royal Navy aircraft carrier was docked at Glen Mallan on Loch Long when the blaze took hold on Friday last week.
Ten sailors were injured after a fire broke out on board the UK’s largest naval warship HMS Queen Elizabeth.
Crews battled the flames with extinguishers before compartments were sealed off to prevent the blaze from spreading further, the Mirror reports. It’s claimed that sailors - some of whom were off duty - were told to gather for a headcount on the lower deck.
