Sainsbury's is set to bolster its workforce with a massive recruitment drive of 20,000 new positions across its shop floors, warehouses, and drivers to meet the Christmas rush.
The variety of roles includes in-store positions focusing on restocking, warehouse staff responsible for stock picking and packing, and delivery drivers to ensure timely home deliveries. Newcomers will be tied into fixed-term contracts varying from a short sprint of three weeks to a full three-month tenure.Depending on the job location and specifications, the wage for in-store and warehouse staff ranges from £12 to £13.
