People trying to buy things in the store have had trouble paying, and some have even found stores closed
Sainsbury's have told customers of a major technical problem which means shoppers may not be able to pay at the till or receive their online orders.
The supermarket giant has informed people on social media of the problem as shoppers have also claimed they have been struggling to pay at tills. Sainsbury’s has said that many online orders are being affected by the glitch and it will contact customers with the issue likely to cause a problem for the rest of the day.
One person enquired whether they would be able to get a refund for shopping that they would no longer need when it arrives late. They wrote: "Will we be able to return the items we no longer need and get a refund because we've had to go and re-buy them elsewhere? A pretty big chunk of my shopping was for events this weekend."
