Sainsbury's has issued an urgent recall after discovering elevated nickel levels that exceed legal limits
Sainsbury's has urgently recalled its Beeline Belly bars due to a risk of severe allergic reactions. The supermarket chain discovered that the accessory contained nickel levels exceeding legal limits, potentially causing an allergic reaction.
Customers who have purchased the affected product are advised to return it to any Sainsbury's store for a full refund. For further information, customers can contact the Beeline consumer services team at: [email protected]. The company added: "No other Beeline products have been affected by this issue. Beeline would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
It states: "The quickest way to get in touch is to give us a call and a member of our team will be happy to help. If you need to request a refund for an item that was part of an online order then you can now do via our online refund form, which you can find here. In some instances you may still need to speak to one of our colleagues to complete the refund request."
