Jurgen Klopp will undoubtedly utilise the full extent of his Liverpool squad over the coming weeks in both the Premier League and Europa League

Mohamed Salah has suggested that Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo does not always get the praise he deserves from supporters. The Netherlands international completed the move to Anfield from PSV in last season's January transfer window with the Reds beating Arsenal and Manchester United to his signature.

Klopp has been without Diogo Jota and Salah during 2024, however the latter is back fit and the Portugal international is not far off, with another key star back in contention to face Sheffield United on Thursday evening.READ MORE: Jurgen Klopp makes remarkable admission over Liverpool title rivals and dismisses Man United claim

With title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City resting pivotal players in their midweek clashes against Luton and Aston Villa, respectively, Klopp may feel the need to make similar decisions. Wataru Endo has been revealed as a doubt for the clash with Andy Robertson missing the weekend game against Brighton as a precaution after suffering an issue on international duty.

With that in mind, Salah was asked about who he believes is the most underrated Liverpool player with the Egypt international offering what he thought was a potentially controversial answer. In a clip that has emerged on social media, via @NaiiLFC, Salah said: "I will say Cody, but I don’t know if the fans agree.” Salah also named Nunez as another that goes unnoticed.
