Plans have been submitted to the council
Plans to build flats on the former Adelphi Lads Club have been submitted to Salford council. Beluga Group and ForHousing have lodged an application to build an apartment complex on the land on Cannon Street, with a total of 63 flats which will be classed as affordable housing.
The new proposals include access to flats from North George Street, with all the planned apartments available at social rent levels. It is made up of 36 one-bedroom apartments and 27 with two bedrooms.The former Adelphi Lads Club site is a ten-minute walk to Chapel Street where potential future residents can access bus and railway public transport services.
